Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) at ICRM

At ICRM, frozen embryo transfer (FET) is a proven and routine step within advanced reproductive technology. During an FET cycle, your uterus is prepared with estrogen and progesterone hormones over 3–4 weeks to create an optimal environment for implantation. Throughout this period, your hormone levels and uterine lining are carefully monitored to ensure readiness.

Once your uterus is prepared, cryopreserved embryos—most of which (about 95%) survive the thaw—are gently thawed and transferred into your uterus. Pregnancy testing is typically done 10–14 days after the transfer.

With high-quality, chromosomally normal embryos, the success rate for clinical pregnancy per FET cycle is approximately 65%. Embryo cryopreservation has become an increasingly vital strategy in helping patients achieve their reproductive goals through safe, effective, and convenient transfer procedures.
