The Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine (ICRM) was established in 1998 and was the first nationally certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility center in Idaho.
ICRM is a full-service fertility clinic, offering state-of-the-art fertility treatments. ICRM is a SART (Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology) member and JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) accredited.

Dr. Kevin Maas joined in 2014 and is the current Medical Director of the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine.

He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in the sub-specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.

Nurse Practitioners

Kara is a Nurse Practitioner and Dr. Slater’s IVF Coordinator and our Clinical Manager. She has been with us since November 2000. Kara graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and continued her education at Vanderbilt University, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2000. She is responsible for coordinating patient care, performing ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations. She is a member of ASRM, Sigma Theta Tau, A WHONN and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Kelsey joined the ICRM team in 2021. She spent time as a Doula, and Nursing Assistant before graduating from Boise State University in 2016 with her Bachelor’s in Nursing Science. She has worked at St. Luke’s as an Antepartum and Labor and delivery nurse. She graduated from California State University – Long Beach in 2021 with a Master’s in Nursing, becoming a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She comes to us with two years of fertility experience and feels she has found her true calling in supporting people on their path to parenthood.

Alyssa graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2021. She started her career in nursing at St. Luke’s as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She has also worked at an ENT Surgery Center as a Pre-Op/PACU RN. Ultimately, she knew a career in women’s health is what she wanted to pursue and where her passion lies which led her to here. Alyssa assists with IVF coordinating for Dr. Maas and Dr. Tobler as well as performs ultrasounds and IUI’s. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, indoor cycling and greenbelt walks, and hanging out with her mini goldendoodle, River.

With a background in healthcare and a deep commitment to family, Kapiolani brings both compassion and expertise to her role as a Gestational Carrier Coordinator. After spending five years as a Medical Assistant in various settings-ranging from primary care to fertility care-Kapiolani developed a strong foundation in patient care, medical coordination, and fertility processes.

Kapiolani’s passion for helping others build families is rooted in her own experience growing up in a large family, where she learned the importance of connection, support, and nurturing relationships. She values quality time with her loved ones and approaches her work with the same care and dedication she shows her family. Whether it’s guiding intended parents or working alongside gestational carriers, Kapiolani is committed to ensuring a smooth, positive experience for all involved.

Maddie joined the ICRM team in September 2021 and is Dr. Maas and Dr. Tobler’s IVF Coordinator. She graduated from Boise State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. However, she is still taking classes at BSU with ambitions to apply to graduate school in the future. Working at ICRM has helped her discover that she is very passionate about women’s health and education. She plans to continue working to provide excellent patient care and support to all of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, boating, and spending time with her friends and family.

Maria joined ICRM in 2014 and is responsible for coordinating Dr. Slater’s Frozen Embryo Transfers (FETs). She also assists in egg retrievals, injection classes, and gestational carrier intake. Maria earned her associates in business and certificate in medical assisting. She loves working with patients to achieve their family goals.

Shana joined the ICRM team in 2014 and is Dr. Maas’ Ovum Donor Coordinator. She completed two years at TVCC before obtaining her phlebotomy certificate. Shana worked at a hospital for 12 years, and brought 14 total years experience with her to ICRM. Shana also assists with teaching injection classes, new patient education, and egg retrievals.

Tatiana is a Registered Nurse and IVF Coordinator at ICRM, where she has been a dedicated team member since 2020. She plays a key role in coordinating IVF cycles and performing ultrasounds and IUIs. Tatiana began her journey at ICRM as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and IUI Coordinator, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the clinic’s operations. Before joining ICRM, she gained valuable experience in OB/GYN and emergency medicine, where she discovered her passion for women’s health. Having personally undergone the IVF process, Tatiana can relate to challenges of infertility and strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of work, she is a proud cat mom to two Persian cats, Smush and Litiki (short for “Little Tiny Kitty).

Zabrina has been with ICRM since April 2013. She came to our clinic with 10 years of diverse laboratory and clinical experience. Zabrina is our Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) Coordinator and Embryo Donation Coordinator. She comes to ICRM by way of Kansas and is a huge Jayhawks fan! Zabrina enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and the occasional game of golf.

Victoria joined ICRM in February 2019. She is an Idaho native and received her BS in Biology from The College of Idaho. She completed her Masters in Reproductive Clinical Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School. When not working in the lab she loves spending time outdoors with her Auggie (aussie-corgi mix) Ellie and provides housing for traveling nurses in the area. Victoria is excited to continue expanding her knowledge about reproductive care to better serve our patient’s needs. She enjoys getting to help others see their dreams of building a family come true.

Alberto is from Madrid, Spain. Where is has grown up and is actively involved in the community and culture. He is the father of two glorious children, thanks to egg donation and surrogacy completed through ICRM.Alberto has extensive experience assisting international parents, not only on the clinical side but also has a deep understanding of the process from start to finish, having been through it twice personally.

Alberto is fluent in Spanish and brings considerable expertise in working with people, due to his extensive background in human resources. Alberto is very creative and energetic and always looking for things outside the box. After achieving his dream of becoming a father through surrogacy, he realized his passion for fully dedicating himself to helping others achieve their dream of starting a family. Alberto is always willing to assist with a positive attitude and a smile.

In his spare time, with two children, time is precious. Cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends is always coveted and let’s not forget about taking his dog Aria to the local dog parks.

Cinthia joined ICRM in 2021. She has a degree in elementary education and business from Boise State University and an extensive background in customer service. Fluent in Spanish, Cinthia is always willing to help answer patients questions, and she loves that she gets to interact with patients from all over the world. In her spare time, she likes to ride her peloton bike, pretend to be a chef/baker, host family and friends, and most of all, spend time with her husband and their dog Laker who is their pride and joy.
